Ukrainian Language: 150 Ukrainian Verbs Conjugated in Common Tenses Reviews
Gute Konjugationshilfe, nur leider fehlen einige wichtige Verben. Sollte ergänzt werden. Trotzdem empfehlenswert für Lerner der ukrainischen Sprache, gute Idee,
Having some experience with the 501 verbs series, I was a little disappointed when I started working through this book.It does give a clear rubric for conjugations of the selected verbs, which is great. But the book simply does not have survival language as its focus, meaning the phrases, words, etc. you need to conduct your most basic daily activities. If the book is going to stop at 150 verbs, it simply must include the 150 most commonly used verbs, not odd verbs like "to jump out of". I'd rather have my basic needs covered before I learn how to say "I jumped out of a dumpster".The only possible explanation I can think of for this is perhaps the author chose the verbs in this book to illustrate common patterns of conjugation, hoping that the reader would apply them on their own to other verbs that are not in the book. If that is the case, it would be nice to set those patterns out separately, apply them through the verbs presented, and make it clear that that is the intention.I'm happy to have this book as another learning resource at my fingertips for Ukrainian. They're actually fairly hard to come by. I just hope that future editions of the book improve by focusing more on practical language needs.
The verbs used for the 150 examples seem random, and are certainly not commonly used verbs, and so it does not appropriate for beginners.
