Reasonable Doubt 2 (English Edition) Reviews
GEEZ!!!! More secrets, less answers! It's driving me nuts! Hurry up part three!Yes, Aubrey lied...but is she the only one? Andrew is holding back big time! Well, only about his past. With everything else, he is hungry as is his lower body part! And damn it is HOT!!!!It also gets more complicated for Aubrey - torn between dancing, internship and selfish parents! It's an overall explosive affair that I can't wait to read how this will end!
❝I want to be friends with someone who's interested in more than my ****y.❞❝I'm interested in your mouth, too.❞I CANNOT get enough of Andrew! Never! He is a complete jacka**, rude as all get out, with the dirtiest mouth on the planet, but for some reason, those factors and more, just drive my need for more of him! I have an addiction, and I am so happy that Whitney G continues to be my pusher, my enabler, my godsend! The Reasonable Doubt serial reads bring out the impatient bitch in me. I breeze through Vol. 1 and I immediately want Vol. 2. I whip right through Vol. 2, and I instantly crave the next. Each one gets better and better, and I have no idea how this author will top herself next. Incredible writing, fantastic plot, scorching hot sexual encounters, what more can you ask for? With more twists and turns, the plot thickens, the emotions run high, and we are left with yet another cliffhanger that will make you go a little bit crazy! I've come to expect this in sexy, suspenseful serials, but that doesn't mean that I still won't have the urge to throw something when it happens. In this fabulous second part of Reasonable Doubt more and more of Andrew's past is revealed. Shocking revelations come to light and we are shut down with another heart stopping cliffhanger. Steamy, intense, passion filled sex scenes are scattered throughout and the banter between Andrew and Aubrey never disappoint. I will continue to try to wait patiently for Vol. 3, but I will pout and fuss in private. I have no doubt that I'm not the only one whining and stomping my foot, as we all count down the days until we know the conclusion of this fantastic series.
3 books one story - same review on all three. This story starts when two anonymous people starts getting to know each other through emails, texts and calls. Then the anonymous part ends and they discover each others lies. Andrew has a difficult past, which has made him a one meal/one night and no repeats kind of guy. Aubrey is drawn between the law and ballet, has egotistical lawyers as parents. Andrew and Aubreys relationship is like a rollercoaster and we get to join them on their ride. Love the characters and their banter, sexy emails and even sexier encounters. The books are short and I easily read them all in one evening. Enjoyed every moment.
4 Stars...I had seen for a long time that everybody was raving about these books, so i wanted to wait until i could get them all and not have to wait. This review is for books 1-3.I inhaled these books, completely. Nowadays finding a partner, someone to date or true love is not that easy but now, we have the help of online dating sites, and that is how our hero meets his forever, eventually of course.Andrew is the definition of a55h01e, if you go to the dictionary, his picture will be there, and yet, we all love him, there must be something wrong with us. Although, once you read the whole series and understand why he is like that, you can't help but want to sooth his soul and keep him forever. Also, he hates people who lie, but he does it too, which was a bit contradictory. His motto is:"One dinner. One night. No repeats."Alyssa (aka Aubrey) is a dancer by heart, a law student by family orders. She is part of a very accomplished family and they don't care what she wants, what her dreams are, so she signs up to the site to get help on her assignments and finds Andrew and they talk for months and months. Andrew wants to meet her for a night of wild and she keeps saying no.All hell breaks loose when Aubrey is hired for an internship at Andrew's law firm and they both find out who they really are. Andrew is not happy, and treats Aubrey awful and she takes it like a champion.“Jessica?” he said. “Could you help Miss Everhart find her way out of my office? And could you please have the janitor check my floors for f*ing superglue?”They have very very steamy scenes, Andrew doesn't know what to do about his feelings, and their relationship becomes destructive, he wants to punish her, she wants him to love her and see her true self, but there is no winning with him. Eventually she leaves everything to pursue her dream and he can't believe she did that, *gasp* (shocking, i know).Andrew gets some closure of his past, in a way at least, and realizes what an arse he's been. So he finds Aubrey again and starts winning her back.Very highly recommended series!
This is a review of the trilogy:“One dinner, one night, and no repeats” was the mantra that Andrew lives his life by because he is an angry hurt man and he HATES liars with a passion. He doesn’t let women get close… only use them for sex. He finds them on Date-Match posing as Thoreau. A different one every night… no repeats. But then he meets “Alyssa”… well Aubrey that is on LawyerChat where she goes for help with her “Work” i.e. “homework from college”. She’s getting a law degree because of her parents but her heart is really for dance. She has emotional issue from her parents that run deep. The two exchange text and phone chats become pretty good friends. Fate would have it that Aubrey applies for an internship at Andrews firms and then their relationship explodes off the pages. They can’t get enough of each other.Whitney G. does an impeccable job of weaving intricate details and good character development throughout this trilogy. At first I really thought Andrew was a “mean, angry” lover to Aubrey but as the story reveals what’s happened to him he has cause to act this way. And Aubrey loves him to healing. I really enjoyed their chemistry and moreover each chapter is titled with a law term… brilliant use of the English language. Be warned books 1 and 2 are very short. Book 3 makes up for it. If I had to critique anything is would be to write longer books at a time Whitney G. But you’re doing a great job so far. Highly recommend this erotic love story.
