Leichte Version von LiteRPG, mit schneller Handlung, intesantem Setting und neuer Welt. Musste an mehreren Stelle auch lachen, bei den witzigen Ideen. Bin schon gespannt auf den Nachfolger.

Took me a day to read it. It is creative fantasy, utterly enjoyable and, as was the first in the series, very entertaining.

As the title already says, its an interesting tale of a man with dark powers trying to do good in a world where everyone hates him.

... which may be your thing? Lots of dialogue and description, in intricate detail, of every scene in which our protagonists find themselves. Not my cuppa. I found this one a bit boring unfort. Still great characters, but I felt there was a lot of padding in a story lacking content.

Definitely another constant to the series will be with poor Ed ending up performing to the Dark's whims. Plus, he's on his way of truly becoming his namesake of Lord Wraith. Although, it was a bit sad that our minx of a rogue doesn't end up staying, but at least her curse is finally over. Next book will definitely be something with meeting up with Ryan and possibly his old adventuring buddies.

Outstanding successor to the first book. I am really looking forward to the series continuing.Amazon, you suck for putting a min on the word count.

The story itself is good, Power doesn't have to equal corruption. Even when the power itself is malignant. Good pacing and characters as well for the most part.

I did enjoy reading this book. As second book go great follow-up. I enjoyed the growth and the development of the characters. I will buy the next one.
